Aboriginal Inclusive Childcare Workers-The Hazeltons

We are looking for individuals who understand that the role of an Aboriginal Inclusive Childcare Support Worker has challenges but can be very rewarding. These positions are full-time or part-time in the Hazelton Aboriginal Inclusive Childcare Program. The position offers a competitive wage starting at $25.25 to $28.28 per hour (dependent on experience & education) including health and wellness benefits along with training and advancement opportunities.

 

JOB SUMMARY

The function of the Aboriginal Inclusive Childcare (AIC) Support Worker is to administer the child’s program plan in the centre  and ensure participation in childcare activities. The AIC Support Worker is a team member within the program structure.

Adult Support Workers

We are recruiting compassionate and motivated Adult Support Workers to assist adults with developmental disabilities with their physical, economic, vocational, recreational, social, emotional, and daily living skills development. The positions are full-time or part-time offering a competitive wage starting at $25.00 to $28.28 per hour (dependent on experience & education) including health and wellness benefits along with training and advancement opportunities.

 JOB SUMMARY

The suitable candidates will assist the Persons Served to achieve the greatest degree of independence and quality of life possible. You will support the person in their own home and in the community. As daily documentation is a key component of this role, general computer skills are required. As transportation may be involved, must have a reliable vehicle.

Out of Home Care Support Worker

We are recruiting compassionate and motivated Support Workers to assist caregivers to increase capacity. The goal is to build supports, resources and skills within the caregivers’ family unit. The position is full-time based in Smithers with travel to Houston and The Hazeltons. We offer a competitive wage starting at $25.25 to $28.28 per hour (dependent on experience & education) including health and wellness benefits along with training and advancement opportunities.

JOB SUMMARY

The suitable candidate  is a member of a family centered team providing comprehensive services to children and caregivers.  You will provide short- term, intensive, in-home service to assist families in reducing risk factors and in developing parenting skills. Skill building and advocacy may extend to all family members, including children and youth. You will support the person in their own home and in the community.
