We are recruiting compassionate and motivated Support Workers to assist caregivers to increase capacity. The goal is to build supports, resources and skills within the caregivers’ family unit. The position is full-time based in Smithers with travel to Houston and The Hazeltons. We offer a competitive wage starting at $25.25 to $28.28 per hour (dependent on experience & education) including health and wellness benefits along with training and advancement opportunities.

JOB SUMMARY

The suitable candidate  is a member of a family centered team providing comprehensive services to children and caregivers.  You will provide short- term, intensive, in-home service to assist families in reducing risk factors and in developing parenting skills. Skill building and advocacy may extend to all family members, including children and youth. You will support the person in their own home and in the community.
